Orthodox Christening at the Cathedral of the Dormition Birmingham

It was honour to be asked back again to photograph another Orthodox christening at the Birmingham Orthodox Cathedral, or The Cathedral Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God and St. Andrew is a Russian Orthodox cathedral located in Birmingham, UK. I have photographed 20 christenings here and am experienced in documenting all the drama of the occasion using a documentary or journalistic approach. The cathedral was built in 1992 and is the centre of the Russian Orthodox Church in Birmingham. The cathedral is a beautiful and ornate building, featuring a traditional Russian design with atmospheric lighting, gold leaf and intricate carvings.
