Avoncroft Museum Wedding Photography: Lisa & Dave

I was so pleased to be asked to photograph Lisa & Dave's wedding at museum. Avoncroft Museum is a unique and historic venue that offers a picturesque and charming setting for a wedding. The museum is home to a collection of over 30 historic buildings, including a Tudor merchant's house, a 19th century windmill, and a medieval church, providing a variety of beautiful and unique settings for a wedding ceremony and reception.

Avoncroft Museum is home to a model railway exhibit that is run by the Bromsgrove Model Railway Club. The exhibit features a variety of model trains and layouts, including a HO scale model of the former Stourbridge Junction station, which was once the largest junction station in the UK. The exhibit also includes a range of other model trains and layouts, including a steam locomotive and a model of a coal mine. Visitors to the museum can explore the exhibit and watch the trains in action. Lisa & Dave and their guests had a great time chugging along on the tiny steam engines! Avoncroft Museum is also home to a 19th century windmill that was originally built in 1820 and used to grind flour and corn. The windmill was moved to the museum in 1976 and has been fully restored to its original state. Visitors to the museum can explore the windmill and learn about its history, as well as see the millstones and the mechanism that powers the sails. The windmill is open to the public on select days, and guided tours are available. I just love the photo of Lisa & Dave with the windmill as the backdrop!

As you'll see from the photos below, the venue was perfect - I love the one of Lisa & Dave on the tractor! Scroll down to see more!
