Today on the blog we have the lovely summer wedding of Charlotte and Liam that I photographed back in June. The weather was totally glorious all day. I joined the girls in the morning for bridal preparations which was very amusing I seem to recall! The champagne was flowing – I think I was very kindly offered a glass – always rude not to accept! 😀 After bridal preparations I then headed down the pub for an ale -as you do! There seems to be a theme developing here! After a pint with the chaps at the delightful Cross Inn in Kinver I headed to St Peter’s Church in Kinver to capture guests arriving. It was delightful to see the bridesmaids arrive in a vintage car, shortly followed by Charlotte arriving, rather magnificently, in a horse drawn carriage!
St Peter’s is such a lovely church with some really stunning stained glass (see pics below). I’m not sure if I’ll be allowed back there after there was a complaint I had nudged the organist – if I did it was accidental! Must be my broad shoulders! The church team were great fun, and rather interestingly proceeded to crack open some wine during the signing of the register! Not seen that practice before but it’s one which I’m in favour of more widespread adoption. 😉
After the service the reception was held in a marquee near Charlotte’s parents’ house. The weather was perfect – the day ended with a fabulous sunset – Charlotte looked gorgeous as you can see.
Enjoy the photos!
“I just wanted to give a massive shout out to Frank. You were absolutely fantastic on both our engagement shoot and our wedding day. You have helped to create some amazing memories that will be captured in time forever! Thank you so much for all your hard work and professionalism and we can’t wait to see the rest!
