I first met Helen and Adam when we did an engagement shoot back in the summer in the grounds of Dodford Manor – the setting for Helen and Adam’s winter wedding. Although this was February and we had been expecting snow and ice, you could be mistaken for thinking this was a summer wedding the weather was so glorious – I couldn’t believe how lucky we were. Dodford Manor is such a lovely venue – the grounds are stunning. As the church is close to the manor the wedding party was able to walk the short distance which gave some wonderful, natural photo opportunities.
The shot below is one my favourites in the collection. Helen was changing into her wedding shoes from her boots following the walk from the Manor. I wanted get a different perspective so I held the camera right above my head to capture the scene.
I was very fortunate in the photography below that the sun just happened to be casting a beautiful light on Helen’s dress.
Helen and Adam had mentioned that they were looking forward to a bit of light painting fun so I was delighted to oblige… 🙂
Congratulations Helen & Adam – I wish you both every success in the fauture. I look forward to showing you the album. 🙂
Helen & Adam: “The pictures are awesome, we are really really chuffed with them!!! There are so many lovely ones, really think you captured the day perfectly 🙂 :-)”
