Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey Wedding Photography
The Tithe Barn Bolton abbey in Yorkshire was a wonderful setting for Jess and Mark’s fabulous wedding. The day started with Jess and her bridesmaids getting ready at the Devonshire Arms just round the corner from Tithe barn where the wedding was to take place. There was a lot of fun and anticipation and the party started early with champagne! Much of my photography is focused on natural, storytelling images and this is what made the day so satisfying to photograph. It was full of wonderful moments as you’ll see below from the photos.
The Tithe Barn is just such a gorgeous venue – the timber structure and the lights provide such a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s quite dark and moody inside – quite a challenging light but I’m used to shooting in dark venues. I have the experience of over 200 weddings to fall back on – and some of the finest photographical equipment available – my clients are always in safe hands. This beautiful ancient rustic barn on the Bolton Abbey Estate enjoys not only a gorgeous interior, but being on the top of a hill has fabulous view down over the remains of Bolton Abbey.
The day started with glorious sunshine which quickly disappeared before the wedding began. Then came the rain! However, this didn’t dampen the spirits and we were lucky enough to get some couple shots of Jess and Mark as well as photographs of the wedding party in a few dry moments after the ceremony. Nothing put a damper on Jess and Mark’s smiles. The speeches were entertaining and everyone had a great time partying into the night.
