Talton Lodge Wedding Photographs
I was so delighted to be chosen as the photographer for Courtney and Anton’s tipi wedding at Talton Lodge. Talton Lodge is set among 34 acres of parkland and provides a wonderful parkland setting in South Warwickshire for your wedding. The manor house can sleep up to 23 people (t’s similar to a private members’ country manor), and there is a large field for festival-style camping.
Talton Lodge Perfect for Tipi Weddings
If you’re looking for a wedding venue a little different and fancy an outdoor ceremony and a tipi wedding then Talton Lodge should definitely be on your list. Tipi weddings appeal to couples who want to do something a little different. Tipis are a very cool shape – no straight walls and no corners for a start! They provide an intimate and informal feel to the day. The speeches worked really well in the tipi – the atmosphere was superb.
Summer Weddings at Talton Lodge
Courtney and Anton were particularly lucky with the weather as the outdoor ceremony took place on the garden lawn to the rear of the manor. The celebrant organised a tying of the knot ceremony for the couple (see photos below). After some drinks and canapés in the lawn the guests grabbed a chair and made their way to the Talton Lodge Kitchen Garden for lawn games and more fun and frolics! I took the couple for a relaxed stroll around the grounds for some relaxed portraits. There is a lovely farmer’s field next door and I was very pleased with a perfectly symmetrical photograph in the field with 2 well-placed trees in the distance. I do like my symmetry! After some touching and funny speeches the bride and groom cut the cake and headed onto the dance floor. There were no shrinking violets to be seen at this wedding! Everyone went completely mental – one of the guests decided to do some pretty impressive breakdancing – see photos below!
