Leading Warwickshire Wedding Venue Compton Verney
I was delighted to photograph Louise and Gareth’s winter wedding at Compton Verney just before Christmas. The entrance to the house looked lovely with the four Christmas trees and lights under the portico. This was a late afternoon wedding which took place in the magnificent Adam Hall followed by a drinks reception in the Picture Gallery. Although extremely challenging, I love low light photography and there is something very atmospheric about the light at winter weddings. The paintings in the picture gallery provide a stunning background to the photographs. I have photographed many weddings at Compton Verney as a recommended photographer, but it was especially lovely to photograph this wedding with a Christmas theme.
Louise and Gareth chose a gorgeous colour theme of mixed pinks and purples for the flowers. Adam Hall looked fabulous. The colour theme was picked up in the table decorations, the flowers on the cake as well as in the bridesmaids’ dresses. The staff at Compton Verney did a tremendous job, as always, in ensuring everything went exactly to plan.
After the ceremony and wedding breakfast all the guests put on their party gear. Bridget Jones’ Christmas jumpers, red antlers and festive glasses came out and the party started! Everyone had a great time!
If you’re looking for a Compton Verney wedding photographer do get in touch! I’d love to hear your wedding plans.
